WE received its first Impact Factor
15 June 2017
We are pleased to announce that Web Ecology has received its first Impact Factor of 0.94 in the last Journal Citation Report, issued by Clarivate Analytics (formerly Thomson Reuters). This achievement was made possible with the help of the many editors, reviewers, and authors who believed in Web Ecology from its inception in 2000. But above all, this is recognition of the work of each of the European ecological societies and of the European Ecological Federation (EEF). Web Ecology is and will be at the service of the EEF societies, not only as a natural outlet for scientific publications but also as a forum for debate and scientific advancement.
Publication fees are still waived, which makes Web Ecology an excellent choice for publishing your work. We are looking forward to receiving your submissions.
With our best wishes, Daniel Montesinos and Jutta Stadler Editor-in-chief and managing editor
